Neo Nazis in America – The threat of extremist hate groups

July 12th, 2009

The ADL (Anti Defamation League) and the SPL Center (Southern Poverty Law Center) constantly work to raise public awareness of the danger posed by hate groups in America. So few Americans are aware of the degree of threat posed by these violent and subversive extremist groups. Who are these people that believe they are the master race? Yes, they are quite familiar to anyone over the age of 40 or anyone who has made the slightest study of twentieth century history.

They are Nazis, more precisely, they are Neo-Nazis. A tumorous outgrowth of established white supremacist groups such as the KKK and League of the South, these new fascists decry the elimination of anyone not of their faith and color. The Neo-Nazi movement in America along with other similar white supremacy groups such as the Skinheads and National Socialist Movement count their membership at over 100,000 nationwide. Lest you think this is a small number consider that the doctrines of hate put forth by these groups result in violence set loose upon thousands of innocent people everyday. Neo-Nazi violence is in the news every week. These groups actively promote racist hate crimes. They plot and scheme to hurt people. Their favorite tactic and pastime is to scan the newspaper for new African American residents in their areas and specifically target them for harassment.

A recent Neo-Nazi article on the ADL website points out that though not an active member of any Neo-Nazi groups the eighty eight year old holocaust museum shooter was a believer in the white power movement agenda all of his life.

Neo-Nazi video showing the rampant disregard for equality put forth by Neo- Nazis in America, is available online to anyone. While one hopes these are published from an anti Neo-Nazi viewpoint, the truth is, most are not. Most Internet publishing of the work and philosophy put forth by Neo-Nazi groups is authored by dyed in the wool members of the Neo-Nazi movement.

There are a few notable exceptions. One of these is “Undercover Nazi”, a startling expose of Neo-Nazi, skinhead activities. David Gletty, the book’s author, spent over four years undercover as a Neo-Nazi infiltrator. His efforts resulted in dozens of anti-American plots being dismantled before they could be launched. Patiently infiltrating six of America’s most notorious hate groups at once, David Gletty rose in the ranks of right extremism until he was revealed to be a Neo-Nazi informant working for the FBI. Unfortunately he was exposed while participating in a huge Neo-Nazi rally. David Gletty now finds himself under constant threat from the entire white power movement, yet he tours the nation spreading the alarm of the huge threat to the majority of the American public.

Major organizations are actively campaigning to reveal inner news about hate groups. On Fox News, Geraldo Rivera has interviewed David Gletty about his experiences. Both Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer have presented Neo-Nazi CNN interviews.

Of course freedom of the press often results in the airwaves being used to spread pro Neo-Nazi propaganda. For radio personality Hal Turner, Neo-Nazi ideals are offered as a solution to all of the world’s ills.

The most dangerous white supremacy faction in America

July 12th, 2009

Which of these white supremacy gangs poses the greatest threat to America? How are we challenging white supremacy? These questions are examined and answered in David Gletty’s hate groups book, Undercover Nazi. Factual news about hate groups seldom is released through the mainstream media and as such Americans are mostly uninformed of the danger involved. Were you aware that a white supremacist organization planned to release a biological weapon at Disney World? This is not to say that the mainstream media is unwilling to release these reports. In the Disney instance the media never knew of the possible danger until years after the figurative bomb had been defused. No, in fact right wing extremism is constantly under surveillance by the press. But FBI operative David Gletty has taken mere reporting several steps further. Skinhead videos clearly show Gletty as a card-carrying member of Neo-Nazi, Skinheads and NSM chapters. During a report on Skinheads, CNN utilized David Gletty’s expertise to share with viewers the magnitude of the threat. During his online interview with the Washington Post skinheads are revealed to be the most violent of all the white supremacist factions. According the FBI, Skinheads are confirmed as the greater danger.

An FBI operative’s journey into the depths of Neo-Nazi hate groups

July 12th, 2009

Undercover Nazi is more than the familiar fictional FBI informant story. David Gletty’s adventure becomes more than the sum of its parts equally the standard FBI informant book deal. This FBI operative book delves into the power behind the Neo-Nazi agenda. Undercover Nazi shows us the dark appeal that white supremacist factions offer their potential members. Is David Gletty an FBI infiltrator or a KKK infiltrator? Where are his loyalties?

Are David Gletty’s loyalties placed with his new friends in the National Socialist Movement? National Socialism in America differs from Neo-Nazi and Skinhead organization in several ways. These are different groups entirely. They share a common hatred of non-Christians and non-whites. As a National Socialist Movement informant David Gletty was able to see and feel the differences in these hate groups. The primary difference being the close affection and affiliation of the NSM towards Adolph Hitler. In fact the NSM interchanges itself in appellation with NSM88. This represents the eighth letter of the alphabet repeated. That being HH which stands for “Heil Hitler”. This idolization of Hitler by the National Socialist Movement marks them as more of a social shock oddity than a threat of violence, but one wonders about the mental capacity of any person that would seek to reinstall the Nazi legacy. NSM videos are almost comical in that these play soldiers parade about in full brown shirt regalia throwing forth the stiff armed Nazi salute. In almost every European country Nazi activity is a serious crime. In America the right to free speech protects even the most vicious doctrine.

David Gletty’s involvement in hate group infiltration

July 12th, 2009

David Gletty volunteered to work with the FBI and journey deep into the devil’s den. Still one wonders after reading Undercover Nazi who David Gletty is and perhaps more importantly what was he forced to become. In a recent interview on CNN David Gletty appears to be a calm survivor of his undercover ordeal. Yet when watching much of the David Gletty video available online, he seems to have not yet shaken off the stench of the ideals that the role of David Gletty, infiltrator forced upon him. So who is David Gletty? Once revealed to be David Gletty FBI operative he was obviously no longer welcome among the membership of the Neo-Nazis and KKK. The League of the South surely won’t be inviting him to any picnics soon. Is he David Gletty infiltrator or David Gletty informant? And what, if any, is the difference? David Gletty’s book, Undercover Nazi serves as a counter thrust to violence proposing white power publications such as The Turner Diaries. Undercover Nazi is no primer on how to be an internal terrorist. Hal Turner will not be telling his listeners to read this book or to act upon its imagery. Undercover Nazi is a foray into the underbrush where snakes walk on two legs and still whisper enticements to evil. Even the book’s author David Gletty, who had steeled himself to their premise, feels the undertow of the camaraderie surrounding this evil agenda. One wonders what might have become of David had he not been revealed as working with the FBI? One hopes the siren’s song of racism would have fallen on deaf ears, but the power promised to David and other Neo-Nazi recruits corrupted many good men in the 1930s and could easily do so again.
